To lose belly fat, you require a combination of a healthy diet alongside creating healthy, sustainable habits.

I’d be honest with you. In your weight loss journey, you just cannot ignore breakfast. Why? This meal gets you started for the day, provides you with needed calories, and goes a long way to help you either lose or gain weight. High-calorie breakfast? Weight gain. Healthy breakfast? Then you are one step ahead in your journey to lose belly fat. 

Here are some (5) breakfast foods for belly fat loss you just have to try:

1. Greek Yoghurt

Greek yoghurt is basically just normal yoghurt that has been strained so much that the calories become low, and the protein content becomes concentrated. 

7 ounces of Greek yoghurt that has not been sweetened is believed to contain

  • 146 calories 
  • 20 grams of protein
  • 3.8 grams of fat
  • Vitamins 
  • Calcium

A low-calorie, high-protein combo is almost always a great idea if you are trying to lose belly fat.

Low calories suggest that you will likely burn all the calories you need before your next meal, and there won’t be any buildup.

2. Avocado

When trying to lose belly fat, bear in mind that you are not expected to deprive yourself of all the fat you need. You can eat fat, but not too much. 

Avocados can be the source of fat you need. A great way to eat them is to spread them over low-calorie bread such as wheat bread. 

Be careful to avoid white bread, as this may contain too many calories for you. High protein, in the same vein, suggest that more muscle building is going to happen. Replacing fat mass with muscle mass.

Oats contain low-calorie, in addition to high fiber. Compared to other grains, oats have a low glycemic index. Which means they won’t increase your blood sugar level. Making them a good choice for even people with diabetes. 

Oats contain fiber. One of the fibers worthy of note is called beta-glucan. This is a carbohydrate known to improve immunity and also heart function.

Oats also contain protein which is great for losing belly fat.

4. Berries

If you want to keep your breakfast light yet tasty and healthy, then you should surely go for berries.

Berries are great for losing belly fat, as they contain low calories and are packed with dietary fiber and antioxidants. Even better, they taste great and are quite easy to get.

5. Eggs

Eggs are amongst the most nutritious meals on the planet. Eating 2 or 3 eggs every day will help you lose belly fat. They contain low carbs and harmful fats and a rich amount of protein just needed for your muscle mass growth. 

Even better, they are easy to prepare. 

If you are the busy type who skips breakfasts because there is no time or maybe even settling for buying some junk food, eggs are a perfect time server. 

In five minutes, you can have yourself a boiled egg. And in less than five minutes, your scrambled eggs will be taken off the stove.
